Being Broken. It's NOT a bad thing.

Girl Looking into Distance

In life, we face disappointments, trials, bad luck as people call it. People look to Christians as people who have got it all togehter and should do no wrong, and if we do, we have let our 'religion' down and are bad examples to our friends and family, to the nation.

Well, let me tell you the good news. WE are all human. Any person who seeks God is on a journey to perfection but we are not perfect angels. Whilst on this earth, we will be broken people to lead others to Jesus. If we did not go through normal things, and face brokeness we could not improve our relationship with Jesus and we would not become strong in our faith. And people would not see what Jesus is doing in our lives if we do not let Him mend it.

The world has become so into it's own thing, and following it's own ways as in the old testament, that there will be so much persecution towards Christians but we need to keep shining Jesus light through our broken vessels, broken circumstances and broken hearts, as it says in the Hillsong song Broken Vessels, (Amazing grace).

Brokeness is not a disaster, if you have a broken heart today for whatever reason. Ask Jesus to come to you, to mold you into who He wants you to be, because we are the broken jars of clay and He is the potter. Trust Him. Everything we go through is for a reason and to bring Him Glory.
